The helpline is staffed by social workers and other specialists who can deal with anything from advice about how best to help an elderly relative to getting help in an emergency.

Local Adult Services Offices

Local offices are open 8.30am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-4.30pm on Fridays, but you can leave a message on the answerphone at all other times.

Staff at headquarters ensure there are consistent standards throughout the department and provide essential back up and support for staff, including staff training, and systems for dealing efficiently with finances and information.
