Safe and effective use of bedrails


This policy aims to reduce harm to service users caused by falling from beds or becoming trapped in bedrails, support staff and service users to make decisions around the risks of using or not using bedrails and ensure compliance with Medicines and Healthcare products Related Agency (MHRA) and National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) advice.
