Multi-agency transportation protocol for clients assessed under the Mental Health Act 1983

To describe the process and manner of compulsory transportation of people detained under the Amended Mental Health Act 1983 (MHA) or already subject to the provisions of section 7 or 37 Guardianship Orders or Supervised Community Treatment (SCT) under section 17a, which is most likely to preserve their dignity and privacy, whilst managing any risk to their health and safety or to other people.
