Research Governance- internal approval process
The purpose of this procedure is to set out the Research Governance process for research and research-like projects, including consultations, that involve accessing staff, service users or their carers, and are undertaken or commissioned internally by employees of Hampshire County Council Adult Services or their contracted agencies. The procedure ensures that research is appropriately reviewed before it commences and that staff are provided support and guidance at every stage of the research process, from developing and implementing a survey to the analysis and dissemination of the findings, as required by the Department of Health.
