Community Development Officers
Hampshire’s team of Community Development Officers (CDO’s) are working across Hampshire with Black and Minority Ethnic communities and those organisations who provide services to Hampshire’s diverse communities. CDO’s work with a variety of services including: services for adults, children and older people in the public and voluntary sector.
A key element of our work is to improve race equality in mental health services by ensuring that communities have the information they need to make informed decisions themselves, and that their cultural needs are considered by mental health service providers.
If you would like to know more please contact your local CDO.
