Independence and Choice Policy consultation

If you have already written the policy why consult?

Service users and carers as well as partner agencies are being asked for their views on how we can work together to put this policy into practice. We would also like people to tell us what they need, to help them understand the policy. For example are there any materials that we should produce to aid understanding.

We are not asking you to vote for something in particular, we want your views and ideas to help us achieve the Department of Health best practice, in a way that you tell us will work in Hampshire.

The consultation feedback will help Hampshire County Council to provide what Hampshire people say they need and want. The department can target services, so that resources are used more effectively and comments from people can be used to help improve the quality and take up of services.
