Background

Surrey and Borders Partnership and Hampshire County Council are planning to formally integrate adult community mental health and social care services in North East Hampshire.

An agreement, known as Section 75, has been proposed which will simply formalise existing working arrangements and confirm the integrated working between the two organisations. Section 75 agreements are in place widely across England and evidence suggests integrated working does promote a better experience for people who use services and carers and more effective use of resources.

We have consulted with people who use our adult mental health services in North East Hampshire, their families, our staff and the wider community to seek their opinions of this proposal.

All responses to the consultation will be treated as confidential and kept securely for one year, before being destroyed.

The consultation closed on Friday 5 July 2013
