The Adult Services Learning Disability services are going through an exciting time, as they are being transformed to improve the services we provide to people with a learning disability and their carers.
The key to people being able to live an active and fulfilling life is for them to be able to access the services that we all use.
Our aim is to deliver a much better range of day opportunities, education, housing and supported employment.

Helping me to register as disabled
If you have a learning disability you can ask for an assessment to decide whether you can be registered as disabled with Adult Services.
What am I entitled to?
The local authority is here to help everyone understand their needs and, if required, provide an assessment.
For more information about what help you are entitled to, please see the Who can get help from Adult Services web pages.
