Adult Services Learning Disability (LD) Grants programme
The Learning Disability Grants Programme for 2012-13 is now open and accepting applications until 12 noon on Friday 13th January 2012.
This programme funds projects and proposals which support the objectives of the Adult Services Department:
- maximising independence and inclusion
- the right support in the right place at the right time for users
- vulnerable people are protected
- delivering a high quality, cost effective service to the vulnerable people of Hampshire
Hampshire Adult Services is encouraging proposals for projects that can clearly demonstrate how they will improve the lives of people with learning disabilities and family carers through meeting Hampshire Adult Services priorities, Valuing People Now objectives and the aims of the Learning Disability Strategy for Hampshire.
Adult Services particularly wish to see applications for the following:
- to provide LD core advocacy schemes and core PCP schemes for 2012/13
- to improve the response to disability related harassment, local organisations are asked to bid for funding to run Safer Places schemes based in certain Local Implementation Groups (LIGs) areas
