Libraries
Public libraries are free and open to all for reading, information, learning and enjoyment. Visit the Hampshire Library pages to find your nearest library, join, search the catalogue for books, music or films and download e-books and audio books.
Do you have mobility problems?
Did you know that if you are unable to get to the library due to mobility problems, and there’s no one else to exchange books for you, the Home Library Service can usually arrange for books or audio books to be delivered on a regular basis by a volunteer. There is no charge and reservations are free.
Alternatively if you have a friend, relative or neighbour who is willing to visit the library for you, staff can register this person as a 'Good Neighbour'. If books happen to be returned late then they will not asked to pay an overdue charge.
Do you know what else is on offer?
Learning, reference and information
Whether you're struggling with the crossword or interested in taking a course, Hampshire's libraries give you access to all the information you need.
Check the Learning, Reference and Information pages to see what’s available to you.
Accessible IT
All libraries and discovery centres offer access to computers. If there is a computer available you can use it immediately but it's recommended to book in advance.

What's On
Libraries are an excellent source of information about social events, groups and clubs.
The What's On pages include a wide range of leisure and learning activities for you to enjoy in libraries and discovery centres.
