The Extra Care grants programme

Hampshire County Council's grant funding programme is an opportunity for potential providers to come forward with proposals for Extra Care schemes (see award criteria in the grants prospectus below). A grant will only be made available to support the capital costs of the development of a proposed scheme. It cannot be used to support any ongoing requirement for revenue support.

Applications for grant funding can be submitted at any time during the life of the grants programme. All applications should be submitted on the template below and be supported by the additional information as set out in the Extra Care Grants Prospectus.

This grant programme will initially be open for applications from May 2013 until 31st March 2015. Any variation to, or extension to this period will be published via the Hampshire County Council website, giving no less than 28 days notice of any such change.

  • The landlord of any rented properties will be a Registered Provider (as defined in the Housing and Regeneration Housing Act 2008)
