Hampshire Provider Forum
The Hampshire Provider Forum was set up in 2008 and meets quarterly, after the County Core Group meets and before the next round of District Inclusive Forum meetings (DIFs).
The purpose of the Forum is to give Supporting People funded service providers the opportunity to raise issues pertinent to them and ask questions of the Supporting People Team, where these issues may not have been explored in depth at the DIFs.
ROCC services the Provider Forum and the Supporting People County Manager attends, with a number of SP local co-ordinators. The SP County Manager provides an update on matters and there is feedback from the previous County Inclusive Forum, County Core Group and Health and Wellbeing Partnership Board.
ROCC provides an update on relevant national and local issues and there is a Question & Answer session in which the provider reps raise their issues/queries with SP. Finally, suggestions are put forward regarding proposed agenda items for the next round of DIFs.
