Work of Age Concern Hampshire in Basingstoke
The old saying that “you are as young as you feel” is something we believe in and we’re here to help older people enjoy life and remain independent.
Whether you need support to keep active and healthy, learn computer skills, or would like to join a friendly and social group of like-minded people, there is something for everyone available through our team based in Basingstoke.
Once a month, Age Concern Hampshire staff and volunteers hold an Information & Social event in areas not covered by our regular weekly services.
Our Roadshows are currently running in:
Lychpit - Oakfields Retirement Living on the 2nd Monday afternoon of each month.
Brighton Hill - Cafe Dome (by Asda), on the 3rd Wednesday afternoon of each month.
Popley - Melrose Hall on Tuesday afternoon
We organise regular speakers and offer an afternoon of quizzes, chat and refreshments. We ask for a donation of £1 to cover our hire costs.
For more information please contact the Basingstoke office on 01256 423874.
