Relief Cook Padwell Road Day Care Centre, Southampton

As required Scale 1 Pt 7. (£6.69 per hour)

Main duties involve: planning, preparation and cooking of meals, snacks and refreshments for the Day Care Centre and the day-to-day supervision of any volunteer helpers within the Kitchen. Suitable candidate should possess a current Basic Food Hygiene certificate, and ideally City and Guilds 706 1/2 or relevant NVQ eg Food Preparation. Knowledge of how to support a healthy balanced diet, and awareness of how to meet specific dietary requirements is essential.

Assistant Manager  Alton Day Care Centre

Mondays and Wednesdays,12 hours per week 9.30am to 3.30pm

4,926 - £5,512 per annum Linked to full time salary £15,189 - £16,998

Required to assist the Day Care Centre Manager in maintaining the smooth and effective running of a Day Care Centre for physically or mentally frail older Service Users, and deputise for the Manager in his/her absence.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with planning, monitoring and review of care plans in accordance with Age Concern Hampshire policies and contractual specifications, including liaison with colleagues in other agencies as required.

Applicants should be qualified to Health & Social Care Level 2, or equivalent. In addition the following is required:

Relief Minibus Drivers, Relief Support Workers/Passenger Assistants at our Day Care Centres/Wellbeing Centres across Hampshire.

Applicants can specify locations where they would be willing to travel to, see locations further below. You can apply to undertake driving, passenger assistant and/or support work.

Excellent training provided.

Hourly rate £6.38 - £6.64 per hour

Hours:Variable, to cover for staff when away from the centre due to attending training, on annual leave, sickness absence, etc. Passenger Assistants/Drivers may start at 8.30 am/9.00 am, and are required at the start and end of the day, with return journeys tending to finish about 4.30 pm. As a guide Support Workers may start at 10.00 am, and may finish 3.00, 3.30, 4.00 pm, or occasionally later.

If you are working at a location more than 5 miles from your home, we contribute towards your travel expenses.
