NB: We do not photocopy some documents because of the risk of damage. These include: pages from volumes (except modern, printed books); rolled items, large maps, tithe apportionments and documents with hanging seals. If you require a copy of a document held at Hampshire Record Office for legal purposes, we can provide certified copies or transcriptions.

Baptism certificates

Please use our enquiry service giving details of event, parish and name(s). We will check that we hold the register and that it contains the entry required. There is a fee of £10 per certificate

Certified photocopies

Where a document can be photocopied, we can provide a certified photocopy. There is a fee of £12

Certified transcripts

For entries in vehicle licence registers and other registers, we can provide a certified transcript. There is a fee of £12

Certified digital photographs

Certified digital photographs can also be provided. A fee of £7 is charged per certification plus the cost of digital photography.
