Fishing

All anglers are required to have a rod licence and a fishing permit.

Permits are available from the Canal Centre

• Annual permits - Adults £22, Concessions £11
• Monthly - Adult £8 ,Concessions £6
• Daily - Adult £3, Concessions £2

The fishing season runs between the middle of June to the middle of March. A Close Season is maintained on the canal in order to restock.

Fishing on the canal is controlled by the Basingstoke Canal Angling Association.
