Corporate Review Programme 2007/08
For 2007/08 the Council is undertaking a fundamental service review focussing on achieving budget efficiencies whilst improving or maintaining service performance. This builds on the Council's ever increasing emphasis of providing value for money to the residents of Hampshire.
This fundamental review, will apply the principles of Best Value covered by the 'four C's' of Challenge, Consult, Compare, and Compete and will draw on external consultants to maximise objectivity and challenge.
This provides an opportunity for best value authorities to take a step back from everyday work and consider whether there are more efficient, effective and economical ways of doing things.
