Hampshire Biodiversity Information Centre
Hampshire has a rich natural heritage and a long tradition of biological recording by both volunteers and professional staff. The Hampshire Biodiversity Information Centre (HBIC) is a partnership led initiative, hosted by Hampshire County Council, which has been established to bring together valuable information on Hampshire’s wildlife and natural environment, to collate and manage this data, and to disseminate to those who need it.

The 10th HBIC Annual Recorders Forum will be held on Saturday 3rd March 2012.
The closing deadline for the next round of HBIC's Small Grants Scheme is 24th February 2012.
HBIC joins the Association of Local Environmental Records Centres (ALERC).
