My surname has changed, what should I do?

You should inform the Blue Badge Unit of your change of name. They will update their records and send you a replacement badge form. You should complete the form and return it to the Blue Badge Unit with your current badge and evidence of your name change. There is no charge for a replacement badge. Your replacement badge will be issued to you on the day that we receive your replacement application form

I have changed address, do you want my new address?

You should inform the Blue Badge Unit of your new address as soon as possible. They will update their records to ensure that the reapplication reminder is sent to the correct address.

I am a badge holder and am moving out of Hampshire, what should I do?

Please inform the Blue Badge Unit. Your badge will remain valid until the expiry and you will be able to use it in your new county. When your badge expires you will need to reapply to the county council in the area you are living.

The badge holder has died, what should I do with their badge?

Please return the badge to the Blue Badge Unit with a brief note explaining why it has been returned and giving details of the date of death. The Unit will update their records to ensure no further correspondence is sent.

My mobility has improved and I no longer need my badge, what should I do with it?

One of the conditions of having a badge is that you inform us of any change of circumstance affecting your mobility

My badge is no longer required, what should I do with it?

Please send it back to the Blue Badge Unit, with a note saying why you're returning it.
