Hampshire Farming Conference 2008 - Tuesday 17th June

This year's Hampshire Farming Conference provided a comprehensive picture of the key issues facing agriculture today - the continuing threat from animal disease, rising grain prices and global food shortages. It also posed the question: should farmers switch production of crops for food to bio-fuels?

Expert speakers from Defra, the NFU and industry gave Hampshire farmers plenty of food for thought and the conference was extremely well-received.
