During most school holiday periods, we  run our incredibly popular Action Adventure days. We would recommend booking early to get the day you prefer as courses fill up very quickly. Activities will usually include a mix of some of the described below.

Calshot is approved by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority to provide a wide range of activities to young people. We conform to the strict guidelines laid down by all the major sporting governing bodies. All Centre staff are highly trained and experienced and will both instruct and supervise groups for the duration of the day.

Rushing Rockets

Watch as your rockets fly through the air at various different obstacles

Beach Scavenge

Find creepy creatures on the beach, make your own beach art and look out for pirates through the binoculars.

High Ropes

Various new exciting elements to get the adrenaline pumping.

Traversing

Experiencing the fun of climbing across our low level climbing walls, playing games and completing challenges. Please note that this is not climbing upwards with a rope.

Egg Drop

In this challenge you have to drop an egg from a great height!
The skill is to design and build a protective cover so that the egg doesn't break! Whose egg will survive the longest?

Climbing & Bouldering

Whatever standard of climbing you have reached, you can be guaranteed a challenge with walls from 6m to 11m high. Alternatively if you want to experience the thrill of climbing at lower heights, then bouldering is for you!

Archery & Shooting

Test your aiming skills and go for gold!

Skiing & Snowboarding

Whether you’ve done it before or not, with three different slopes, we can help you progress rapidly.

Track Cycling

You’ve seen them in the Olympics racing round the track, now try for yourself on one of only three indoor velodromes in the UK.

Orienteering

Find hidden clues around the site, in this navigation challenge.

Ringos

Fly down the slopes in inflatable rings

Initiative Course & Low Ropes

Test yourself, team and mind with these exciting challenges.
