CAMHS in Hampshire

Tier 2 and 3 Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

The provision of Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Hampshire became the responsibility of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust from 1st April 2011. Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides services to both children and adults across Sussex including those with learning disabilities and adults needing substance misuse and forensic services. An integral part of their aim is to work in partnership with clinicians and stakeholders to ensure equity of access to high quality care across all of Hampshire. Sussex Partnership has an excellent track record in participation and partnership working in CAMHS and hope to bring this to Hampshire as well as building on some of the excellent developments that are already in place.

Specialist CAMHS Consultation Lines

The Specialist CAMHS consultation lines provide an opportunity to talk with a mental health professional. They will be able to offer advice on referring to Specialist CAMHS or to discuss alternative strategies/services that will best meet a young person's need.
