Bears with fallen stag

Lithophane, porcelain, smear glazed, showing a stream amidst dramatic mountain scenery with a bear guarding the carcase of a stag, and two other bears, one a cub, there are two glaze-filled holes in upper edge for suspension; impressed mark 'PPM' and pattern number 1189 on back, made by the Plauesche Porzellanmanufactur, Plaue, Thuringia, Germany, late 19th century
