Application successful for Single Funding Formula (EYSFF)
Following careful consideration and with the support of Schools Forum and the Executive Lead Member for Children's Services, an application was made for Hampshire to be a pathfinder for the EYSFF. We have been informed that our application was successful and the introduction of the EYSFF will be from 1 April 2010.

The Early Education and Childcare Unit
The Early Education and Childcare Unit (EECU) is a part of the Children's Services Department within Hampshire County Council. Its primary purpose is to deliver the Government's National Childcare Strategy, and to ensure it helps to meet the needs of all children, parents and carers across Hampshire.
