• Type of vacancy: Permanent
• Hours of work:  - Up to 21 1/4 hours per week during term time, which may include breakfast club 7:30am-8:45am and after school club, 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. Plus overtime during school holidays.
• Rate of pay: Minimum wage, to be discussed at interview.

Job Description

To be available for cover when needed. Knowledge of EYFS essential. Providing safe, creative appropriate play opportunities, preparing activities etc to liaise with parents, carers, schools, visitors and other professionals. Day to day administration to undertake such other duties as to reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and it's level of responsibility, within an equal opportunities framework. Skills & qualifications

To be able to called upon at short notice. 2 years childcare experience, playwork or childcare, education. Management experience. The ability to work on own initiative. a pleasant manner. A commitment to equal opportunities. A commitment to safeguarding. The ability to listen to the concerns of children and respond positively. A current driving licence.

* Minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification

Desirable Qualifications

* Minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification, Food Hygiene Certificate, First Aid
