The Role of the Key Person


This is a two day course devised by Anita Hughes.

Day one: Attachment theory and the key person approach - participants will be introduced to the principles of attachment theory and the role of the key person approach discovering why secure and positive early relationships are so important.

Day two: observation and planning to daily practice with the under three's - participants will focus on linking observation and planning to their daily practice with under threes. You will need to bring a prepared written observation with you to discuss and reflect on during the day. You will discover what assessment means and why it is important in order to plan and deliver appropriate fun learning experiences.

Who is eligible? All providers that work with the under threes.
