Welcome to Sunflowers Children’s Centre

We’d like to wish you all a happy New Year and look forward to seeing you through 2012.

We are currently developing our programme of activities, but our aim is to provide a range of groups and services for children and their families living in the Wellington and Rowhill wards.

Come and join our activities and become part of the Sunflowers Children's Centre.

Further to our Parents Forum meeting we will be introducing a new advertising board that will be available to see at each of our sessions. One postcard can advertise 3 items, and will be perfect for advertising used baby items. We were delighted with the turn out and will keep you informed as we implement more changes as suggested at the meeting.

New Events:

• Healthy Living – Join us to discuss healthy eating, physical activity and self esteem and understand how these contribute to a persons well being.  Run by Hampshire Learning.  This course also offers a free crèche.  Book a place on 07525104015.  Wednesdays from 11^th January 2012 until 8^th February 2012.  12.45pm – 2.45pm at West End Centre, 48 Queens Road, GU11 3JD.  
• Baby Massage – The next course of baby massage will be running on 16^th January 2012, 23^rd January 2012 and 30^th January 2012.  This will be held at the Roberts Centre from 1.30pm – 2.30pm.  Please book a place on 07525104015.  Please use the entrance at Gordon House, Gordon Road, opposite the catering shop on Birchett Road.  (Roberts Centre, 3^rd Floor, First Wessex Building, Gordon House, Gordon Road, Aldershot, GU11 1LD)
• PEEP – PEEP promotes parents/carers awareness of childrens early learning through making the most of everyday activities and interactions in order to advance the childs self esteem and promote lifelong learning.  Please book a place on 07525104015.  Starts 20^th January 2012 and runs every Friday until 30^th March 2012.  From 12.30pm until 3.30pm.  At West End Centre, 48 Queens Road, GU11 3JD.

• Confidence Building – This course will help you to learn techniques that will teach you techniques to help build your self esteem.  This will be held on Wednesdays from 20^th February 2012 until 19^th March 2012.  From 12.45pm – 2.45pm with a free Creche!  At the West End Centre, 48 Queens Road, GU11 3JD
