Aims

  • Gain views from young people on transport, road safety and teenage pregnancy
  • Identify gaps in local transport and sexual health provision
  • Give young people an opportunity to question and have a dialogue with decision makers
  • Encourage young people to be active citizens
  • Understand the role, and campaigns, of the Members of Youth Parliament

  • MYPs campaigns informed
  • Transport Select Committee informed
  • Feedback actioned by decision makers

Proposals

LCP’s to each identify a group of young people aged 11-19, up to 25 with additional needs. This group to identify questions from a wide group of young people around local transport, road safety and sexual health provision and send a delegation from this group to conference.
