The BOX Youth Centre

Open access drop in for young people age 15 - 17 years old. We offer sexual health advice, guidance and information on contraception, pregnancy, Chlamydia testing and condom distribution, as well as support and advice on drug and alcohol issues.

We also work with young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET,) or who are at risk of becoming NEET, to help with CV writing and accessing post-16 education, employment and training options.

The Centre currently operates open access youth sessions for young people aged 8- 17 most of who live in Winnall and Highcliff areas of Winchester.


Currently sessions are very well attended by young people of all ages. Sessions are sub-divided into age groupings, this is so activities can be targeted to enable young people to participate and enjoy their leisure time in a way which best suits their needs.


The programme currently runs twice a week in the evenings, and during the school holiday’s.
