Quality mark for advice services for young people
Hampshire Careers and Employability Service has been accredited with the matrix Standard - a prestigious, national quality mark for careers services.
Assessors praised Hampshire Careers and Employability Service for:

- passion, competence, knowledge and experience of staff
- results! –reducing the numbers of young people not in education, employment or training.
The award is a nationally recognised quality standard for advice and support services which aid young people in their choice of careers. In attaining the quality standard, Hampshire Careers and Employability Service has been recognised for its clear aims, effective, objective and impartial advice, accessibility, effective links with other partners and client and staff involvement in the development of services. The award also recognises the evaluation and monitoring of services which help ensure they continue to develop to meet the needs of young people.
Hampshire Careers and Employability Service is available to young people through those schools and colleges in Hampshire who purchase the service from the local authority. Advisers can give advice on a range of education, training and employment opportunities as well life goals.
