Hampshire Adoption Services
We welcome prospective adoptive parents from all sections of the community, including applicants from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, single applicants and same sex couples.
Current Priorities and Needs
Finding the right homes for children in Hampshire who need adopting is our priority. Our recruitment strategy is under constant review to ensure we find the right adoptive parent(s) to meet the needs of the children who are awaiting placements.
We are currently looking for prospective adoptive parents with some experience of supporting children and are particularly keen to hear from those who are willing to learn about therapeutic re-parenting.
Due to the complex needs of the children we have currently waiting for adoption in Hampshire, we are prioritising applications from prospective adoptive parents without children in their household.
