Adopting with Hampshire

There are lots of reasons to adopt with Hampshire County Council’s Adoption Service - but the biggest reason is the children who need your help.  

Each has their own story and reasons for being in need of an adoptive family (why children need adopting) and each has need of a committed, caring, supportive adult to look after them during this next phase in their life (skills and qualities you need to adopt)  

Of course, the package of preparation and training, as well as ongoing help and support both before any children are placed with you and after you are matched with a child, is also important.  These are important building blocks to help you parent an adopted child and build a future together as an adoptive family.
