Help and Support

The support, help and advice you have received throughout the process of adopting doesn’t stop when a child is placed. You will continue to receive visits from your social worker for a while once a child is placed with you to ensure you are receiving the help and support you need and once an Adoption Order is made, Hampshire’s comprehensive adoption support service offers one-to-one advice and support where it is needed.

The support team also offer access to a range of support groups, workshops, training days and family days, as well as being able to signpost you to a range of other services and networks across Hampshire which offer support to adopters and adoptive families.
