Little Coppice Children's Centre

Michelle Harrington - Centre Leader

I have been the Centre Leader for Little Coppice since July 2008. During this time services offered by the centre have developed and grown, and the number of families using the centre continues to increase. This has been achieved through consultation with parents, local providers and the hard work of a dedicated team.

Emily Taylor - Family Support Outreach Worker

I have recently joined the Little Coppice team, having previously worked for the children's centre in North Baddesley, both as a Family Support Worker and Administrator. My background is a little diverse having spent 10 years in retail and obtaining a degree in business, but I've got a lot of people experience! I have a 7yr old daughter and I am aware of the issues that mums face, particularly young mums and I look forward to meeting and working with the families in this area.

Sue Foster - Family Support Outreach Worker

I have been working with children and families in the Hampshire area for more than twenty years and have a social care background. I have two young children of my own, and living in Fair Oak has allowed me to developed local links.

Kara Singerr - Family Support Outreach Worker

Previously I have worked in childcare and support work. Having 2 children under 5 I am aware of the pressures and challenges that parents are faced with on a daily basis. Please feel free to pop in or call the centre for a chat, no matter how big or small the issue, we will work together to find a solution.

Vanessa Blackman - Administrative Assistant

Before having my two sons I worked in various departments within an office environment, and for 2 years I worked as a Pre-school Assistant. When my children got older I returned to administrative work. Having lived in the area for over 14 years I enjoy having contact with parents/carers and their children, from the local community, when they attend the centre and I love the variety of work this role offers!

Jean Taylor - Administrative Assistant

I am the newest member of staff to the Little Coppice Children's Centre and have lived in Bishopstoke all my life (quite a long time!), therefore knowing the local area well. I have one grown up daughter who is married and lives in Bristol.  I previously worked at Eastleigh College for eight years as an Administration Assistant. I enjoy my new part-time position, and have found everyone at Little Coppice to be very friendly and welcoming.
