During the summer term of Year 5 (May to July), start to collect information about which schools are in your area.
As well as looking into what schools are in your area, its important to know what is your child’s catchment school – this is determined by your permanent home address. When deciding which schools you would like to apply for, it’s a good idea to put your catchment school as one of your options. Details are also available from your local school or the admissions team.
