Visit the schools you are interested in to see what they are actually like – don’t make a decision about a school on the basis of what others have said about it. Go along to open days/evenings, or if you can’t attend, contact the school and make an appointment. Take a list of questions and things to look out for when visiting - some useful suggestions.
