Employment help

Want to get into work? Do you need help with a CV or with interview skills? The free Job Clubs run by MBL offer free internet use for job searching; job hunting guidance and help with job applications; help with letter writing and selling yourself as a job candidate; and a friendly place to meet others who can support you.

Fresh Start

Fresh Start is based in Fleet and is a not-for-profit social enterprise delivering a delicious and wholesome range of sandwiches, canapés, home-made savories, cakes and biscuits. Fresh Start offers supported work experience for young people and adults who have had a difficult start in life. Under the guidance of an experienced professional chef, those on the Fresh Start programme learn the skills to prepare, cook and serve great food.

Is an open access, drop In, Sexual Health advice and information session.
This is a Free & Confidential Service for young people up to 25 Years old, which offers:

  • Free Chlamydia Tests
  • Free Pregnancy Tests
  • Free Condoms

Saturday 2:00 - 5:00 pm

'Rock It'

'Rock It' supports young musicians and gives them an amazing opportunity to learn, develop and be creative. It isa referral project, which offers free guitar and drum tuition for young people aged 11 -25 Year olds.

The Gaming Zone is a not-for-profit organisation that offers play and leisure activities for children and young people across Rushmoor. All of their staff and volunteers hold Enhanced CRB disclosures. They strive to offer a friendly, warm, welcoming environment with opportunities to get involved in a number of activities, or simply to just hang out. For more information about any of the projects managed by The Gaming Zone, and to find out how to join, to become a volunteer or to make a donation please call or email the Project Manager.

Their current projects include:-
Cheeky Monkeys. Tuesdays during term time. 4.30pm – 6.15pm (5-10 years). 6.30pm – 8.30pm (11-15 years). At the Mayfield Community Centre, Farnborough.

North Town Youth. Wednesdays during term time. 6.30pm – 8.00pm (10-15 years). At the North Town Community Base, North Town, Aldershot.

The Gaming Zone@Mayfield. Thursdays (46 weeks of the year - includes some holidays). 6.30pm – 9.15pm (11-18 years), with hot food from 6.30pm – 8.00pm. At the Mayfield Community Centre, Farnborough.

NAS@The Gaming Zone. Every other Saturday 10.30am – 1.00pm. For children on the autistic spectrum and their families. At the Mayfield Community Centre, Farnborough. Play console games, meet other children and families. An opportunity for parents/carers to chat and meet others in similar circumstances. An opportunity for children, young people and their families to get involved in gardening projects, growing and harvesting vegetables and fruit on their very own allotment plot and improving the green spaces within the community.
