Hampshire County Council

In 2006 the County Council agreed this vision:

"Within a decade Hampshire will prosper without risking our environment."

The County Council is building on experience to date and working towards two main climate change outcomes:

1) To prepare the organisation and the services it delivers for climate by placing climate change considerations at the heart of the County Council's decision-making processes, policy development and operational activities.

2) To develop climate-resilient communities by working in partnership with them and other organisations to increase their own capacity to adapt.
