Work completed: October 2006

Hampshire County Councillors visiting the sea wall at Royal Victoria Country Park during a coastal seminar
During 2005 the footpath along the top of the seawall was closed because erosion had damaged the sheet piling and the footpath was in danger of collapsing. Works to stabilise the seawall were completed in September 2006 and this enabled the footpath to be reopened. Railings have been added as an additional safety feature and allow access for a wider range of people.
