Helping to keep residents and staff informed

Ensuring that residents know how to access County Council services is extremely important - it could be anything from accessing social care, support starting a new business, applying for a child's school place through to finding a local library. It is also important that residents understand how their council tax is spent.

The Corporate Communications Team helps to ensure Hampshire residents, and our staff, are aware of and understand the work of Hampshire County Council. This includes promoting our corporate strategy, what the Council Council policies and services are and how they are delivered and accessed. The team also manages a programme of market research to help inform decision making and planning.

Our vision for communications in the County Council:
