Taxis
Getting a taxi can sometimes be a convenient way to get about.
Taxi route is a great website that gives you an idea of what your route may cost. It is a Calculator for the UK, based on the official Local Authority Hackney Carriage Fare Table. All you need to do is
- Enter where your travelling from and to - the more exact you are with the address ie post code, the more accurate fare results will be
- Choose the local authority you are travelling in ie Winchester City Council
- Choose your tariff - tariff charges are different depending on the time you are travelling
You will be given an idea of what the fare will be. If available it will also list local taxi firms in the area.
PRINT friendly . . . when you print this page all of the tabs will print.
