Helping others

If you use computers at work and home - why not "Share IT" - share your time and knowledge to help others get started.

Friends & families

You will know:

  • someone in your family who is not familiar with using a computer or the internet

  • a friend or neighbour who could benefit from help to get started online.

So give it a go and Share IT with them . . . . . .


  • Helping families

    Share with your family:

    • showing mum how to use the internet
    • sharing photographs
    • food shopping on line

  • Helping across the generations

    Younger people helping grandparents:

    • helping Granny use email
    • sharing homework
    • showing her how to Google

  • Helping each other

    Silver surfers helping each other:

    • sharing websites about hobbies
    • planning a holiday
    • 'listening again' to a comedy radio show
