Annual performance report 2011/12
In Hampshire, we are proud of our strong record of delivering excellent services that provide value for money.
Over the last year, we have risen to the challenge of national spending cuts with an ambitious programme of savings and modernisation, while protecting frontline services and reducing the impact on those in most need.
The strong performance of the County Council over the past 12 months places us in a stronger and more resilient position than most other authorities. We remain one of the country’s leading councils, providing vital services to the 1.3 million people living in the third largest county in England.
