Flying along the coast towards Calshot Spit we can see the water come in from Mean Low Water Spring tide to Mean High Water Spring tide, covering the salt marshes on the reclaimed land behind the spit.

This is what would occur now if there were no defences present.

We now move 100 years in to the future to show how predicted sea level rise will impact Calshot Spit. As you can see the spit becomes cut off and inundated.
