Farley Mount Country Park is managed by the Rangers of the Countryside Central area team, in Hampshire County Council's Culture, Communities and Business Services department.
We work in partnership with the Forest Enterprise, to protect the mixed habitats and ensure that the Park is a safe and enjoyable place to visit. We also work with schools, lead guided walks and talks, develop site plans, supervise work parties and maintain the tools and machinery we have to help us with these tasks.
The vast amount of work needed to maintain the Park, is only achieved with the help of many volunteers and students from nearby Sparsholt College. The range of voluntary activities varies from practical work eg, tree felling, scrub removal and estate maintenance, to research and wildlife monitoring.
