Lepe is a coastal Country Park in the New Forest National Park. There are stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.
With over a mile of beach, pine fringed cliffs, historic D-Day remains and wild flower meadows, Lepe is a great day out, whether you want to relax and take in the view or do something a bit more energetic.
The park is popular for walking, swimming, fishing, windsurfing and bird or boat watching. There is a children's play area, picnic areas, barbecues for hire, toilets, ample parking and a café.
The Barbeque areas can be hired daily from 12 noon-6pm.
NB disposable and portable barbeques are not allowed in the park.
Male, female, disabled and baby changing facilities are next to the park office in the beach car park.
Wind and Kite Surfers
A lawn and tap beside the café is provided for rigging up, with a car park crossing point. Beware, there are strong tides and winds.
Please keep dogs under control and make use of dog waste bins provided.
From April to September part of the beach is ‘Dog Free’ for family use. Please respect this and follow cliff top to ‘Dog Friendly’ beach.
