Lepe Country Park

School visits to Lepe Country Park

Lepe is the ideal place to bring learning to life. This coastal park of shingle shore, cliffs, wildflower meadows, woodland, river and recreation areas is fringed by the North Solent Nature Reserve. In addition there is plenty of historical interest with remains of a major D-day launching point on site.

Classroom

Situated in our conservation and education area, the new classroom is accessible to all and makes a fantastic base for any visit. Book for all or half of your day, as part of a ranger led activity or for your own follow up session.

Ranger led visits

We offer a range of environmental activities for KS1 and KS2 pupils during term time and activities for community groups during school holidays. These activities can be adapted to suit your needs and relate to the National Curriculum. We offer tailor made sessions for secondary and higher education groups, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Self led visits

Field equipment and guides to activities can be booked. Help with planning your visit is also available. We are developing our schools programme over the coming months so please ask us to tailor something to meet your needs if you do not see what you require on the activities page.

Youth groups

Many of our activities can be adapted to provide fun sessions for other organised groups outside school hours, please call us to discuss options.

Booking

For both ranger led and self led sessions we recommend a pre-visit to discuss arrangements. Contact the park office 023 8089 9108 to enquire about activities, arrange a pre-visit or book sessions.
