Booking terms and conditions
BBQs must be booked in advance and full payment of the hire charge made at the time of booking. Hire charges are non-refundable.
If you are subsequently unable to attend on the date booked, a transfer to another date (weekdays only, not Bank Holidays) will be offered, subject to availability.
A returnable cash deposit of £15 is required on the day for each BBQ key issued. Keys must be collected from Manor Farm reception by 2pm at latest on the day of hire.
Once you have unlocked the barbecue hearth the key must be returned to Farm reception by 3.30pm at latest (the BBQ can continue to be used after this time). Your deposit will be forfeited if keys are not returned by the given time, or if lost.
Please lock the hearth lid by clicking the padlock shut when you finish at the end of the hire period.
All litter must be removed from site at the end of the hire period. Please do not throw used coals into hedges.
The playing of amplified music is not permitted.
The use of bouncy castles, ball pits or similar temporary structures is permitted only by prior arrangement and agreement with Manor Farm Country Park and presentation of the operator’s public liability insurance certificate. Please enquire for details.
Barbecues must be vacated before the Park closing time each evening. Please note the current closing time displayed at the main gate on arrival.
Portable free-standing BBQs may be used by hirers of the site’s fixed barbecues to extend cooking capacity. These are only to be used in conjunction with the hired hearths in Toplands. Disposable BBQs (e.g. single-use tray type) are not permitted.
Hirers must ensure that BBQ coals are made safe by closing the lid and locking with the padlock at the end of the hire period.
Park management reserve the right to terminate any booking failing to comply with the terms and conditions of use.
