Sensory Garden

The Sensory Garden and Woodland Project is close to the Park Office. It has a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees which provide a bright and colourful display throughout the seasons. The garden's plants come in a different shapes and sizes and are fragrant.

The garden's sounds include the gentle running of water in the fountain, bird-song, the metallic clinking of wind chimes and  occasionally the steam train. The trellis work, arbours and raised beds lend an almost skeletal sense of shape and form to the garden. The focus of the garden is the bog garden and fountain and all the paths lead to, and radiate from, this point.
