Where your money goes

Royal Victoria Country Park has teamed up with Wave105 on a joint fundraising venture to raise money for young people in our region.

The Wave105 charity was established in 2009 and is committed to support local people under the age of 18 who are financially, socially, emotionally or physically disadvantaged.

Additionally it encourages healthy lifestyle options by promoting physical, mental and general wellbeing of children and adolescents.

The charity provides grants to individuals as well as other charities to help ensure the specific needs of children across the region are met.

A proportion of the money raised will go towards family facilities at the Country Park to encourage healthy living and outdoor play.
